Introduction to High Performance Receivers - - - Slide #3  How to determine which of these is present: - internal spurii: With a well shielded receiver and no antenna connected, any signals heard are internal spurii. - local oscillator spurii: With a strong signal connected to the antenna port, any signals heard, at any frequency, (other than the signal frequency) will be the result of the LO spurii, provided they change one dB for each dB change in the input signal level. - spurii from high level, unwanted signals; see slide 4 and after.
