1941-1966 - Royal Canadian Air Force - Electronics Officer (Radar). Retired as Squadron Leader.

1966-1974 - Raytheon Canada Ltd, Waterloo, ON - Marketing Manager 

1974-1977 - Dept of Industry Trade and Commerce - Commercial Officer

Amateur Radio History

 

1935 - First licensed as VE3CV in Pembroke, Ontario.

 

Merv had always been interested in experimenting.

 

He was a member of OVMRC and served as Vice President (1976) and President (1978).

 

He was also a member and President of Ottawa Amateur Radio Club (1978-1979).

Merv joined Quarter Century Wireless Association in 1976 and served as Director of Chapter 70 in 1989 and President in 1990-1991.

He passed away September 2, 1993 at age 76 years
